Pet Friendly Bargain Hunting at Yucatan Giving Outreach

I love kind humans, so I want to tell you about some of the kindest humans I know. They run an organisation called Yucatan Giving Outreach. I am proud to say that I have volunteered there. I was a most excellent greeter of humans who came into the very special shop they have in Itzimna.

Human beings love finding things they call ‘a great deal’, so Yucatan Giving Outreach opened a second hand shop that gives everyone what they are looking for. In this shop they sell everything that a human could possibly want. They have furniture, clothes, jewelry, art, kitchen and cookware and so many other things.

All of the money that they make at this shop is used to support the important work they do helping the most vulnerable people and pets in Yucatan. They work with orphanages, homes for elders, programmes for sick and disabled people, women escaping domestic violence, villages experiencing poverty, animal welfare groups and they do a lot in the background helping with cases that require confidentiality.

They also have a food bank and distributed 13,000 bags of food during the last year, while people are suffering pandemic related economic hardship. Just so you know, they are a recognised Mexican registered charity.

If you have things that you do not want or need anymore, you can give them to the nice humans in the shop and they will make sure that everything is used.

There are a lot of interesting bargains for humans to sniff out at The Yucatan Giving Outreach shop. Best of all, it is pet friendly and the friendly people there welcome you to come and donate and shop with your well behaved dog.
